RUST!
Seats come out easy when the floors are rotted away so bad that they took THE SEAT TRACK MOUNTS WITH THEM.
They’re supposed to have mounting tabs on them, like these:
Surprisingly the seat has some good parts. The limiting cable for the forward folding is in PERFECT shape. Usually they’re broken and the seatback just flops into the steering wheel when you fold it forward to get into the back seat. Found one more part I can use on my Trans Am!

You really weren’t kidding about concerns over the car breaking in half. I think t here is supposed to be a frame rail in there. I don’t see it.

These F-bodies are like Novas. They have a front subframe and rear monocoque construction. I think you can see the last bit of the subframe through the hole, but it is supposed to stop there.

That’s almost enough rust to get David Tracy’s attention!

They’ve been trying to get him to branch out. If he’s amenable to an RX-7, why not this? Plus he could take it Moab and show everyone what sort of offroading you can do with a car with no offroading pretensions.

The air freshener makes it okay tho.

Air freshener is the best part.

Damn, one hard bump and you're on the ground getting run over by your own car

If the leaf spring (bottom right) doesn’t impale you in the ass cheek first.
